Your Unity UI just… pops in.

A standard uGUI setup toggles canvases on and off. One frame it is the menu, the next it is the game. Canvas Utility gives every screen an enter and an exit that you author on a timeline, then plays them whenever you navigate.

Without

The same tour with plain canvas toggles. Every screen just appears.

UI art in the showcase clips: Free Casual GUI by Skyden Games, a separate free download. It is not included in the package.

With Canvas Utility

The showcase scene's menu, settings, home and shop, each screen entering and leaving on its own timeline.

Four behaviours, every parameter on the timeline.

Each clip has a delay, a duration and an easing: choose from the preset list or draw your own AnimationCurve. Stack as many clips as you like on one element, on both the Enter and the Exit track.

Fly

Detects its direction from where the element sits on the canvas. Fly fully off-screen, by a percentage of that distance, or by a fixed number of units.

Fade

Appear on enter, disappear on exit. The simplest clip, and the one most screens start with.

Scale

Grow in, shrink out. Picking a zoom type fills in its off scale, and typing an off scale selects the matching zoom type.

Rotate

Spin in clockwise or anticlockwise, with the same delay, duration and easing controls as every other clip.

Scrub it in Edit Mode.

Play, pause, stop, or drag the playhead without ever entering Play Mode. Saving the scene or prefab mid-preview is safe: the preview is suspended for the save and restored afterwards, so preview state never reaches disk.

  • Scene-view highlight

The showcase main menu and its canvas inspector, scrubbed in Edit Mode: every element follows the playhead on the enter timeline, then on the exit timeline, frame for frame.
